In the first quarter of 2023, the performance of the top five food delivery service apps in Tunisia demonstrated diverse trends in downloads and active users. Here’s a closer look at how each app fared, based on data from Sensor Tower.

Yassir Express started the quarter strong with weekly downloads peaking at 66.4K in mid-January. However, downloads declined to 14.3K by late March. Active users showed a similar trend, increasing from 133.7K at the beginning of the quarter to a peak of 205.7K in mid-January, before stabilizing around 146.9K by the end of March.

Glovo: Food Delivery and more experienced a consistent decline in weekly downloads, starting from 21.7K in late December and dropping to 3.9K by the end of March. Despite this, the app maintained a relatively steady number of active users, peaking at 79.7K in early March before settling at 65.2K by the end of the quarter.

Jumia Food - Food delivery displayed a similar pattern with weekly downloads peaking at 4.6K in mid-March before dropping to 1.4K by the end of the month. Active users also saw a decline, starting from 56.4K at the beginning of the quarter and ending at 46.1K in late March.

appetito showed a more volatile trend. Downloads spiked to 7.3K in late February before decreasing to 611 by the end of March. Active users followed a similar pattern, peaking at 10.3K in late February and then dropping to 3.5K by the end of the quarter.

Kool Delivery experienced steady but low download numbers, starting from 1.9K in late December and ending at 275 by the end of March. Unfortunately, no data on active users was available for this app.
